HR Recruiter

Description:Gas Station TV is currently seeking an HR Recruiter to develop and execute GSTV’s employee recruitment strategy. The Recruiter will be responsible for filling all open positions at GSTV, including sales positions located outside of the Birmingham office, using traditional and innovative approaches and resources. GSTV seeks the best and brightest talent, and is looking for an HR Recruiter who will successfully fill this crucial role.
Duties:o Work with management to continuously assess the staffing needs of the organization
o Develop and execute a comprehensive recruitment strategy
o Develop reporting tools and processes to track progress and to measure, evaluate and improve processes and resources
o Develop and continuously improve candidate screening tools and processes
o Develop specific recruiting plans for each open position
o Work with supervisors to create job descriptions for each open position
o Develop and manage the internal candidate interview process, including questions to ask (and not ask) and collecting feedback
o Manage and execute the screening, qualifying, interviewing and evaluation process for each candidate
o Network through industry contacts, association memberships, local schools and universities, trade groups, headhunters, on-line job sites, social media, job fairs and employees
o Actively manage all external resources – headhunters, recruiters, on-line sites, etc. – as well as internal programs (e.g., employee referrals)
o Evaluate the Company’s standard offering to candidates (comp, perks, benefits, etc.) for effectiveness and potential improvement
o Draft and issue offer letters, and follow up through acceptance
o Work with the HR Manager to:
o Develop employee retention policies/processes/programs
o Evaluate compensation regularly
o Perform entrance and exit interviews
o Ingest all new hires
o Update and maintain orientation materials for new employees
o Think creatively about new ways to attract and hire the best candidates for each position in a timely fashion
o Perform other special projects as assigned
Qualifications:o 3-5 years of recruiting experience and proven candidate sourcing and relationship building skills
o Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
o Ability to work independently but also to work with various departments and foster teamwork
o Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of human resources work
o Ability to travel for recruitment meetings and career fairs and maintain a flexible work schedule
o Strong organizational skills required
o Must be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
o Gather and analyze information skillfully
o Demonstrate resourcefulness, creativity and initiative
o Bachelor’s degree required
